The organization Patient Power contracted my video production friend Kevin (tvkevin) to film interviews with doctors and patient testimonials on behalf of the new Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. In turn they then also needed still photography to document the day for web blogs and articles to appear in Gateway to the East Valley Magazine and other local publications. By the way, Kevin has been shooting and editing video for nearly 20 years and has the equipment to light any scene as complex and high-end as you’re willing to go.
For print layout I shot several shots offering enough room to print fullpage and to share an area with text. Because my task was to document the ongoings more as editorial than commercial I only brought one light and left the editing on the light side to maintain an event look and the real-ness of the scene.
