SAA Offices Interior Shoot

August 7, 2011

Architecture, Interior

Here is another interior shoot I did for Jeff Johnston Interiors. This office space was pretty slick, but consisted of a lot of tight narrow spaces, heavy tungsten lighting everywhere, and a lot of reflective surfaces. Thankfully I brought plenty of lights and had some tricks of my sleeves to capture the best shots possible. In the image above, for example, the glass reflected so much of the walls, ceiling, and windows that it would have been impossible to see the conference room interior without my trusty circular polarizer filter. It was able to remove most of the reflections and glares. These images also took a lot of heavy color correcting and other fixing. Adjusting color balance can only do so much when using so much mixed lighting (purple light through windows, orange and yellow office lighting, all bouncing off yellow’ish materials. Give these images a click to see them larger in all their detail.
