An Architect’s Space

August 7, 2011

Architecture, Interior

Have you ever wondered what kind of space an architect would live in? Well, I’ve seen a few in my day, and I can tell you they’re always different and reflect the styles of design that inspire them most. Local Phoenix architect, Travis Smith, brought me in for a Tour de Force de Photo of his own space in a late mid-century low-rise in the Central Corridor. Yes, he designed and built and re-built much of what you see. However no, he did not re-upholster the furniture himself. He may be a great carpenter but he knew it was best to leave that to another specialist.
